The Manasalu region, with an altitude of 5213 meters will challenge any trekker as the journey is considered very strenuous. The journey may involve anywhere between 15 to 25 days of trekking. The trek will begin with Arughat, a small village in Gorka District via Katmandu, ending with a circuit around the Mt. Manaslu through the Budi Gandaki valley. Along the way we get several beautiful Buddhist villages like the Samagaon, Sirdibas and the Samdo and then pass the Larkya pass which is considered very friendly though dramatic due to the stunning view of the valley. Considered as the 8th highest peak in the world and home of two national parks i.e Manaslu conservation area and Annapurna Conservation area, the Manaslu trek is too good to pass for any experienced trekker.
